Canadian artist Kristina Steinbring was born in Ontario, but spend her life travelling and spending time in various provinces from east to west. It is not surprising, then, that her oil paintings primarily focus on the beauty of the Canadian landscape and small town life. The last 30 years have been spent in Alberta, where the vast landscape and western subject matter has left her with a never-ending supply of interesting scenes to paint.
Although primarily a self-taught artist, Kristina has taken advantage of numerous workshops, enhancing development as an artist under the instruction of great Canadian painters such as John Cooper and David More. Kristina has been painting and exhibiting in regional and national shows for more than 25 years. Her bold colors and unique style has caught the eye of collectors and her work is included in many corporate and private collections across Canada and internationally.
