I was raised in rural Alberta which gave me the opportunity to appreciate the beauty of nature. I began painting in my youth with oils and only recently have taken a couple of workshops in watercolors. I have had no formal art lessons.
While raising a family, and managing a business, painting was the only time I could relax and express my creative abilities whether it be on wood, rocks, glass or canvas. Now that I am retired, I can paint when I want!
