I was born in Saskatchewan and moved to Alberta when I was very young. We lived on a farm and my love of nature grew alongside my passion for art. I am a self taught artist, and although I enjoy nearly every artistic discipline, my choice became acrylic and watercolor paintings.
Gary's Kettle's and More started when I was asked to paint a picture on an old tea kettle. I have painted cream cans, saws, sawblades, rocks, bracket fungi, feathers, wood, glass, dried leaves, antlers and even canvases. If it doesn't move... paint it!
The best tool for any artist is IMAGINATION. This is so important and we must use it to its fullest. We must not be scared to try new things. New creations are made when we step out of our comfort zone. I love when someone is as excited about art and nature as I am, and I'm passionate about the wants and needs of my clients. Creating a keepsake that will last a life time is only a request away. Thank you for taking a look at my art and feel free to contact me anytime.
